Platinum G started loving music and messing about with mixing in his bedroom as a kid – back then it was Happy Hardcore that he played. As time went on he grew out of that and moved on to Dance and a bit of Drum and Bass mixed in but it’s when he discovered Breaks that he found his sound and that’s what he has loved playing ever since. His first radio show, 14 years ago now, was covering for another DJ and was petrified but absolutely fell in love with the bug, knowing there were listeners out there hearing his stuff. Platinum G has done shows in pairs in the past which was a great laugh but now goes it alone, playing his favourites.
